About PGCR

What is Pandora-Gilboa Community Recreation (PGCR)?
PGCR is a nonprofit organization that provides youth Baseball, Softball, and T-Ball opportunities for children in the Pandora-Gilboa area and surrounding communities. Our goal is to offer a safe, positive, and development-focused recreation experience.

Who runs PGCR?
PGCR is operated by a volunteer board made up of community members who oversee registration, scheduling, fundraising, and league operations.

Registration

How do I register my child?
All registrations are completed online through TeamLinkt. Printable registration packets are available for reference only and do not complete registration.

When does registration open and close?
Registration dates vary by program and are listed within each registration form. T-Ball registration typically remains open longer than Baseball and Softball.

Can my child still register after the deadline?
Late registrations may be accepted at the discretion of PGCR, depending on roster availability.

Payments

What payment methods are accepted?
PGCR accepts:

• Debit/Credit card payments during online registration
• Offline payment by check

How does paying by check work?
If you select offline payment (check), your registration will be marked as pending until payment is received.
Checks should be made payable to Pandora-Gilboa Community Recreation.
Registration is not considered complete until payment is received.

Are installment payment plans available?
At this time, installment payment plans are not offered.

Financial Assistance

Is financial assistance available?
Yes. PGCR offers financial assistance upon request and approval to help ensure participation is accessible to all families.

How do I request financial assistance?
During registration, select the option indicating that you are requesting financial assistance. A PGCR board member will follow up after registration.

Is financial assistance automatic?
No. All requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Approval is not guaranteed.

Refunds & Credits

Are registration fees refundable?
No. Registration fees are non-refundable once registration is completed.

Can credits be issued?
In limited circumstances and at the sole discretion of Pandora-Gilboa Community Recreation, a registration credit may be issued for future programs. Credits are not guaranteed.

Policies & Conduct

What policies must be acknowledged during registration?
Families must acknowledge the following during online registration:

• Zero-Tolerance Policy
• Participation Waiver & Assumption of Risk
• Refund / Credit Policy
• Code of Conduct expectations

What is the Zero-Tolerance Policy?
PGCR maintains a zero-tolerance policy for inappropriate behavior by players, parents, spectators, and coaches to ensure a safe and respectful environment for everyone.

Programs & Play

Baseball & Softball

• League fees and umpire costs are funded through registrations and sponsorships.
• Team formation depends on registration numbers and available coaches.
• Some divisions may not be offered if minimum participation numbers are not met.

T-Ball

• T-Ball is administered entirely by PGCR.
• Teams play only against other PGCR-formed teams.
• The T-Ball season runs June 30 – July 24.
• Team assignments and schedules will be shared closer to the season start.

Team Assignments & Scheduling

When will teams be announced?
Team assignments are typically completed after registration closes and will be communicated via TeamLinkt, text, phone call and/or email.

Where can I find schedules and updates?
Schedules, updates, and announcements will be shared through:

• TeamLinkt notifications
• Text communications
• PGCR website and social media pages

Volunteering & Community Involvement

How can I volunteer?
PGCR relies heavily on volunteers. Opportunities include:

• Coaching or assisting teams
• Helping with concessions
• Field maintenance and preparation
• Fundraising events

Volunteer interest can be indicated during registration or by contacting a PGCR board member.

Sponsorships & Fundraising

How can businesses or individuals support PGCR?
PGCR offers business and community sponsorship opportunities. Sponsorship information is available under the Forms & Documents section of the website.

What are sponsorships used for?
Sponsorships help fund:

• League and umpire fees
• Equipment and uniforms
• Field maintenance and improvements
• Facility upgrades and long-term planning
